Playright´s Choice: Selected Scenes

Poetry and Prose Café hosts their inaugural Playwright’s Choice on Thursday, March 9 in the covered, open-air courtyard of Café Murmullo at Instituto Allende. This special event will feature one hour of drama and comedy, presented by seven of San Miguel’s most accomplished playwrights: Marilyn Bullivant, Lia Gladstone, Eli Hans, Lauren Osornio, Tasha Paley, Mark Saunders, and David Temple.

Each scene or “flash” play presented by the playwright runs from four to seven minutes. Some will have cast members when a piece calls for more than one character.

Admission is free, and donations are gratefully accepted to support our all-volunteer organization. Founded in 2015, the Café hosts established and emerging writers from San Miguel de Allende and beyond.

Please arrive a few minutes early, seating is limited, and we will begin on time.
